Do you know why animal trainers always take a stool whenever they go into a cage full of lions? They have their whips, and of course they have a pistol at their side, but invariably they always carry a stool.
In fact, it’s the stool that’s the most important tool of the trainer. He holds the stool by the back and thrust the legs of the stool toward the face of the wild animal. Those who train lions will tell you that the lion will try to focus on all four legs of the stool at once. In attempting to focus on all four legs at once, a kind of paralysis overwhelms the animal, and it becomes tame, weak and disabled because its attention is fragmented.
Where is your focus today?
Are you focused on God and Godly things?
Are you focused on what God wanted you to do today?
Or are you focused on what you wanted to do today?
