Just a few doors down from my parents’ house lives an elderly man the neighbors call Reverend Rick. When he was in his twenties, he felt God leading him to leave his job and attend Bible School.After that, nothing much happened. He returned home, continued working, gotmarried. Years later he was asked to teach fourth grade Sunday School. Later he led a Bible Study. A few years went by and someone asked him to preach in their church.
Three years after that he was asked to help start a new church. Years later he felt that God was leading his family to move to South America and start a church. He obeyed, and God blessed. He eventually planted many churches through- out South America, and ministered faithfully for over 20 years. His most fruitful ministry came 40 years after he felt led to attend Bible School as a young man.
God is never in a hurry. Just remain faithful in the little things;
