
After the morning prayer the team was asked by the Station to return daily. Currently a team of four people pray with 25-30 detectives, HR officials and the Deputy Station Commander (Captain Zondo) at 07:30am prior to their staff meeting.
The opportunity has enabled the team to invite the people to church and to hand out merchandise of Ps At’s messages. These prayer meetings aim to develop into cell groups.
‘We are trusting God for doors to be opened into the communities they serve through the influence they have, as well as having them come to CRC. Our next objective is to go to the Lyttleton Police station thus covering the entire Centurion precinct as far as law enforcement goes’.
One of the detectives noted he receives on average 400 cases of suicide, culpable homicide and murder assigned to him. Today he shared that he has had no new cases in the last week.
